Join Milwaukee Students for a Democratic Society as we kick off our Destroy Rape Culture film series. We will be showing "The Invisible War", the first in a series of documentaries SDS we are airing throughout the semester to educate students on the epidemic of blaming the victims of rape in America.

and 1 in 5 women and 1 in 4 men in the service had been sexually assaulted. Statistics like these are extremely low as most rape cases go unreported often because the survivor is discouraged from reporting the incident by their assailant, who tends to be a superior officer. The Invisible War exposes the laziness of the US government to bring justice to survivors of rape in the military and its failure to accurately report it.
